We help investors better understand listed companies

Pitt Street Research’s experienced equities analysts produce research reports on listed companies as well as interviews with company management. We share these insights with investors around the world to help them better understand these companies by providing context around companies' news flow and announcements.

The main benefit for listed companies is quality analyst coverage, leading to investor appreciation of the stock as the company makes commercial progress. Companies with research coverage have a much easier time gaining investor understanding of what they do and how they seek to create shareholder value.

The problem with research coverage historically was that most companies didn’t get covered by banks and brokers, or were under-covered. Also, distribution of that research tended to be restricted to a relatively small number of clients of the producing firm.

With the pool of analysts in traditional research departments now shrinking due to the changing nature of financial markets, the supply/demand imbalance in research is even greater.

Pitt Street Research, with its issue-sponsored research model, now makes quality analyst coverage available for a broad swathe of companies and investors that traditionally couldn’t join ‘The Club’.
